Mokum is the old Yiddish term for Amsterdam. As you may have noticed from the last dreary posts, the weather has been a bit soul-sucking as of late. Gray all day, cold, bitter winds from the East our of Siberia. It's not much fun being in Northern Europe in February. In theory spring should be here soon, but while the plants seem keen the weather does not.
I think this is the month I finally pack on a couple kilos of winter depression in the form of sugar.

stop it! the weather has been fantastic! (ie NO RAIN) so stop complaining right now. book yourself for a manicure and pedicure and perhaps a massage- winter blues by-by. do some push-ups with munchkin on your back...
